Cooking Group
The Cooking Group takes place twice a week. Skill development includes:
- Practicing kitchen hygiene and kitchen safety
- Following a recipe
- Food management and preparation
- Cooking a meal
- Presenting and serving the meal
- Kitchen cleaning and tidying up
Digital Living
Tuition and practice and in use of all things digital including use of a smart phone, apps, google search, using the Internet for such things as shopping, booking holidays or entertainment and use of Microsoft product such as Word or Excel. We have also been looking at an Some of the group are now moving on to completing a Level 2 computing course as part of E.I.T. This activity helps with cognitive, memory, executive functioning and being part of the 21 Century.
